  1. Are we part of this growing conversation? Not that I've seen. And yah, we'd better be. We're missing chances to generate genuine good will with and on behalf of our clients. Not to mention that the job is easier and more fun when it's an aspect of a rewarding relationship.

  2. There has been talk from the top for quite some time about becoming part of the Social Media world, but there has been surprisingly little collaboration between different departments to make it happen successfully. I wouldn't know who to talk to to go about helping, say, DW have a more "social" take on things than just the periodic "We're in Cedarburg this week" updates that I see on Facebook and Twitter.

Also, very little of the work that I see us doing, at least in the video production department, lends itself to being used "socially". I can't imagine anything that would help get us jump-started as a company than producing a viral-style video about Discover Mediaworks so that we, the employees, can have a better idea who we are and what we do, practice shooting and editing styles that would lend themselves more to social media, and work together as a team to make something that we can all be proud of, instead of the compartmentalization that seems to have been happening of late, where once your part of a project is done you don't see it again.

Any other suggestions or ideas on what we could do to help become a more successful figure in the Social Media world?
